Undead Knight

The LOD limit for this University project was 12250, unfortunately this meant areas like the hands and boots were neglected in the process as I spent too much time working on the rest of the body that I missed out on creating strong forms for these areas. With more time or more LOD, I would have focused more on creating stronger silhouettes for these components and ensuring the sizing was correct. In hindsight, his hands are far too small for the rest of the body in terms of proportion.

I also would have sculpted much more detail to bake onto the shin pads, and made sure the leather boots had a more technical texture applied. Also I should have adjusted the Specular map for the boots to ensure they weren't reflective in the leather areas. Again, I was on a tight time schedule balancing other projects, so it is something for me to look out for in the future.
